THE WAY BACK TO THE CITY

This post is dedicated to a really good friend called Jose Isaias, how is a very talented upcoming fashion designer and an incredible illustrator. I've always supported him and   believe he has a bright future ahead of him. I'm such a huge fan of his work, he has a great eclectic esthetic, he always likes to add some mystery to his pieces, to keep the crowd wondering about his clothes. He recently gave me this cool T-shirt as a present, which has one of his illustrations printed on it, and I couldn't wait to wear it.

Over size blazer - Vintage / Graphic t-shirt - Jose Isaias / Leather skirt - H&M / Chunky hoop earrings - Vintage / Sandals - Steve Madden.

I paired my new tee with a leather pencil skirt, to make the shirt a little bit more dressy but still keeping it cool and sexy. I wear my vintage blazer on top and the look gave me a bit of an 80's vibe, so to add some funkiness I decided to use my mom's old huge mint hoops; nothing screams 80's like a crazy big earring.

I invite you to visit his page, so you can see more of his amazing creations - HERE

THE FLOWER MARKET

Last Thursday I took a trip downtown to a flower market, looking for a cool arrangement to give to my mom as a mother's day present and took the chance to snap some pictures while I was there, surrounded by all the colorful and beautiful flowers.

Cropped shirt & Mint asymmetrical skirt - Zara / Snake skin belt - Roberto Verino / Snake skin sandals - BCBG MaxAzria / Silver folded clutch - Louis Vuitton.

For this special occasion I decided to wear my mint asymmetrical skirt. I bought it back in winter, but I wanted to save it and wait for the spring to get here to wear it. It didn't quite feel like a winter's look to me, and I was right to wait; It looks so much better like this, with a cropped shirt and a pair of sandals. So fresh and sweet, the perfect romantic look for a big family dinner celebrating all the pretty moms.

Hope you have a great week!!

Andrea

RAINY DAY

This week has had such a crazy weather, we had really hot days and then all of a sudden, on wednesday it got cold and started pouring rain. So I went with the mood, put my trench coat on, took out my umbrella and snapped this fun pictures by the sidewalk. I mean a little rain doesn't hurt anybody!

Trench,  Printed blouse, Panel skirt - Zara / Pep toe shoes - Bershka.

Even though it was raining a lot, I didn't quite feel like waring pants, so I decided to wear this color blocked skirt; which I wanted to use so bad, that I didn't mind getting my legs a little wet.
To create a cool contrast, I paired it up with a zebra printed blouse. Both pieces are kind of bold, but I think they look so good together, the bright orange mixed with a cool print works perfectly to brighten up a sad grey day.

Enjoy your weekend!!

Andrea

SWEET BIRTHDAY

Many of you might not know that this past monday was my birthday! I turned 24 and I'm starting to get the feeling that I'm getting old, so this year I decided to celebrate the entire weekend as if I was 18 years old and of course, I had an amazing time with my friends. It was the perfect weekend, but then by monday I was a bit tired of all the festivities and parties. So I decided to spend my actual birthday with my boyfriend and family, I had lunch with my boy and later diner with my family it was such a great day. I couldn't be any happier, after all I got to celebrate with the people that most matter to me.

White shirt - Seven for all mankind / Crochet shorts - Ark & Co. / Platform sandals - Fendi / Necklace - Combination of 2 pieces

I wore this cute ensemble for my birthday and I loved it, it's flirty and feminine and perfect for the hot weather. I'm a big fan of the crochet shorts, I recently bought two more pairs that I'm dying to wear, but it has been raining lately, so I'll have to wait a bit more to wear them. Crochet pieces are one of the most popular items for spring, you can found them in many colors and styles. They are great for a casual yet feminine look and even tough I used to relate this material with grandmas, now I think they are a must in every girl's closet. Who knew crochet could be so sexy?

Take care!

Andrea
