ORGANIC MIX

To wear something comfortable doesn't mean you have to compromise your style, there are many ways to wear casual and comfy clothes while still looking gorgeous. Like with this white ensemble, with the cut out maxi skirt and top, which both have such a fresh and organic vibe, that together they create a light and comfortable look, thats cute and perfect to wear during the summer.

Denim shirt  - Zara /  Cut out top - H&M / Cotton maxi skirt -H&M / Thin waist belt - Zara / Tortoise framed shades - DKNY / Fringed bucket bag - Mango / Snake skin sandals - BCBG.

To make my look a bit more casual and adapt it better to the city, I wore an open denim shirt on top, with a thin belt to cinch in the waist. This shirt is such a basic item of my wardrobe, it's so multifaceted, that I often use it as an outwear garment. It works so good as a light jacket as well as an alternative to the traditional white shirt.

Let's kick off this week with the right foot!!

ROCKY ROAD

The peplum trend became so popular during the summer and since everyone fell in love with it, it managed to find the way to transition from one season to another. we've seen this trend on many fall collections, that it looks like it will be one of the favorites for fall as well.

Lame peplum top - Forever 21 / Green tailored pants - Zara / Big stoned necklace - Toska / Green tote - Coach / Silver cap toe stilettos - Zara.

I paired my lame peplum top with an emerald tone pant, to create a flirty but dressy look. This pieces work so good together, not only because of their color scheme, that is a great match, but for their silhouettes as well. The best way to wear a peplum top is to pair it with some well fitted bottoms, like a pair of tailored or skinny pants, which allows the peplum to show off even more.

What do you think.. do you like the peplum trend as much as I do?
Have a nice day!

CITRUS PUNCH

When the thermometer hits 40 degrees, there's only one way to fight the heat...  And it is by wearing a pair of mini shorts, like this lace ones I wore the other day, for one of the hottest days of the summer. I balance the super short shorts with a more covered buttoned up shirt, it's important to keep the balance on every look and decide wether you show more legs or cleavage, and this time I went for the legs.

Top - Zara / Lace shorts - Forever 21 / Necklace - Ivonne / Bangle - Vintage / Tortoise shades - DKNY / Sandals - Zara / Tangerine bag - Michael Kors.

This lace shorts go perfectly with the embroidered details of the top, together they create a cute little outfit, with a nice feminine touch. To complete the look just add some cool necklaces, a pair of heels and you are ready to go.

Enjoy you weekend!!

Andrea
